Blinder Wall combines simple parts to create a warm and versatile lighting art piece. Twenty five incandescent bulbs with deep warm light are arranged in a large grid and mounted on a structure for standalone or wall display. The low-Kelvin warmth of the lamps provide an inviting light, suitable both for production use or simple indoor lighting.
Each bulb is mounted in a housing to reflect the generated light out towards the viewer, giving a different appearance depending on the angle it is viewed at. Each bulb is individually dimmable with a completely smooth dimming curve all the way down to off due to the use of traditional incandescent rather than LED.
The control interface is based around the Mini DMX Patcher enabling the piece to be used standalone, with a full lighting desk, or with any basic DMX controller. It supports a pre-programmed mode with a smaller DMX channel footprint that controls pattern, master brightness, and several other overrides. Full twenty-five channel control is also available for those who wish to program their own effects.
